GLOBAL IT CENTER EAD, part of HeidelbergCement Group – one of the world leaders in the cement industry, employing more than 63 000 people in 62 countries worldwide, is the largest cement producer and exporter of cement in Bulgaria, with a leading position in the domestic market. Following the development of our business strategy, we are looking for:
JAVA DEVELOPER
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing current system status and presenting ideas for system improvement;
Working closely with analysts, designers and stuff;
Producing detailed specifications and writing program codes;
Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live;
Maintaining the systems once they are up and running.
Requirements:
University degree in a business or technical field (or comparable qualification / experiences);
Essential technologies and tools:
- Development with Java, Spring, Hibernate,
- Version control (git or similar),
- Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, JMock or similar),
- Build and Integration tools (Maven, Jenkins or similar),
- Relational databases (MS SQL or similar),
- Communication protocols(REST, OData);
Would be a plus an experience and willingness for full stack development:
- Development with JavaScript/TypeScript,
- Angular 2+,
- CSS,
- Webpack, npm,
- Cordova and mobile apps;
Experience with large-scale projects and working in agile teams would be a plus;
Readiness to learn business processes is considered to be a plus;
Soft skills:
- Open minded to new technologies, willingness to learn new things
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Fluent English
Willingness to participate in roll-out projects worldwide, to travel and to regularly provide support to end-users;
Ability to work in an international team with emphasis on service orientation.
