6oth anniversary of Devnya Cement

On December 4, 1958, the biggest cement plant in Bulgaria, Devnya Cement, was officially opened. Today, the plant has the most modern production line known in the world, operating since 2015.

Since 2016, the company is part of HeidelbergCyment Group - one of the world's largest cement, concrete and aggregates. The global giant is represented in more than 60 countries, and Bulgaria also owns Vulkan Cement in Dimitrovgrad.

For its 60-year history, Devnya Cement has established itself as a market leader in Bulgaria with its wide range of bulk and packaged products that have been used to build many key sites in the country. Along with classical cements, the company also offers a number of innovative solutions such as drainage concrete and hydraulic binders for roads. The scale of the company allows it to create and produce a specific product only for the needs of a particular project.
