ACCOUNTING MANAGER AD INTERIM
Job Purpose
Management and control of all accounting and consolidation activities of the Bulgarian subsidiaries in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations, as well as the HeidelbergCement Group’s requirements and policies while ensuring reliability and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating and supervising the processes of internal and statutory audits while maintaining good relationships with the Group’s and statutory auditors;
- Follow-up of accounting related local regulations, the Group’s policies and ensuring their proper application;
- Coordinating the documentation related to the Internal Control Systems (ICS) in compliance with the Group’s internal procedures;
- Managing administrative relationships with customers and suppliers, where necessary with the support of the Commercial and Purchasing Departments;
- Providing financial and methodological support to all other departments, ensuring that the accounting requirements are met;
- Managing and coordinating the inventory stocktaking process with the support of Purchasing and Technical Departments;
- Elaboration of different studies, financial projections, ad-hoc reports and analyses;
- Managing the delivery of accounting services to the Bulgarian subsidiaries of the Group that operates under the coordination of Devnya Cement AD following the contract specifications;
- Participating in cash management activity in compliance with the local legislation, the Group’s and management procedures;
- Preparing the interim and annual financial statements of the Group’s subsidiaries in Bulgaria, in compliance with the local regulations, IFRS and the Group’s procedures, instructions and interpretations;
- Ensuring proper and timely book keeping in compliance with the accounting principle and applicable laws;
- Responsible for the monthly and year-end closing processes.
Requirements
University degree in Economics, Finance or Accountancy & Control;
- Previous working experience on a similar position - at least 5 years;
- Excellent organizational, analytical and presentation skills;
- Excellent command of English – both written and spoken;
- Excellent computer literacy – SAP and MS Office applications;
- Highly responsible individual able to meet strict deadlines;
- Team player and leader with excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude;
- Complex problem solving - identifying complex problems, assessing relevant information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions;
- Stress tolerance and self-control - remaining assertive when dealing with high stress situations;
- Proactive and eager to propose and deliver out-of-box solutions.
